Petreskolan has about 40 students per grade in grades 4-6 and about 90 students per grade in grades 7-9, as well as about 20 students in adapted primary school. Värnaskolan is a primary school with about 40 students per grade.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will teach woodworking and belong to one of the teams divided by grade. You will be responsible, together with colleagues, for teaching, goal fulfillment, and development within the subject. The teaching is distributed across grade 3 - Värnaskolan with 2 classes, grades 4-6 at Petreskolan with 6 classes, and 2 classes in adapted primary school. The position also includes supporting students in other subjects.

It is important to us that all students reach their goals and can be who they are, as well as feel safe and involved. You have an interest in building good relationships with students and guardians, as we believe this is a prerequisite for good learning.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a certified teacher in woodworking, which can also be combined with other subjects. We seek someone who, with flexibility and good collaboration skills, leads students in the subject. Working in a team with the goal of making school time valuable for students together with colleagues is a requirement. However, you must also independently drive your subject forward and be able to choose pedagogical approaches for different student groups. We work with great trust in teachers' independent assignments; you lead the class with trust and balance.
